Face Painting & Balloon Twisting
Watch as Rockie's Faces, at the Pioneer Park Gazebo, transforms faces with colorful and creative designs, from playful animals to fantasy characters, in addition to crafting amazing shapes and figures with balloons that will bring smiles to kids and adults alike.
Lucha Libre (Wrestling)
Watch as professional luchadores take to the ring, set up in Pioneer Park, delivering thrilling matches full of dynamic moves, colorful costumes, and dramatic showdowns. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or new to the world of Lucha Libre, this action-packed event offers a unique and exhilarating experience for all.
An Evening Under the Stars
Come be part of a fantastic evening featuring wine and micro-brew tastings, live and silent auctions, exciting raffles, and delicious hors d'oeuvres, all while supporting the Newman Fall Festival! Held at the Newman Downtown Plaza (1328 Main Street), tickets are $50/person and the event is for guests aged 21 and over. Tickets will be available soon at Pizza Plus (1420 Main Street, Newman - cash/check only) or at the door (while supplies last). This popular event often sells out quickly, so be sure to secure your tickets early!

Volleyball Tournament
Bump, set, and spike your way to victory in the annual Volleyball Tournament at Densmore Park (1325 Kern Street). Sign-ups start at 8:00 AM, with teams split into upper and lower divisions. Baking Contest Drop-Off
Submit your delectable creations at the L.J. Newman Memorial Center (649 Orestimba Road). Participants are invited to bring their best baked goods to be judged. Whether you’ve perfected a pie, mastered a cake, or baked a batch of irresistible cookies, this is your chance to shine.
Vendors
Explore the vendors at Pioneer Park and discover delicious food, refreshing drinks, unique retail and commercial vendors, and engaging informational displays. While you shop and explore, enjoy live musical entertainment all day from Sounds in Motion at the Pioneer Park Gazebo.
Cruzin' Critters
Held at the Pioneer Park Gazebo, this engaging and entertaining event features a dynamic showcase of fascinating animals, including exotic and unusual critters. Watch as expert handlers introduce you to a variety of creatures, sharing interesting facts and stories about each one.
Kids' Zone
Packed with fun for the festival's youngest guests, this family-friendly area in Pioneer Park features a variety of interactive activities, games, and hands-on attractions to keep kids entertained throughout the day.
Pets on Parade
Bring your furry, feathered, or scaly friend to Pets on Parade at the Pioneer Park Gazebo! Enter your pet in fun categories like Best Dressed, Most Unique, Owner-Pet Look Alike, Biggest Pet, and Smallest Pet, or simply enjoy an adorable showcase of pets from across the community. Check in starts at 10:30 AM. You'll also have the chance to meet adoptable pets from the Newman Animal Shelter in partnership with Cause for Paws.

Fire Obstacle Course & Fire Truck Rides
Put your skills to the test and challenge yourself on the firefighter-inspired obstacle course on Fresno Street, between Q and R Streets, then climb aboard a real fire engine for a ride through town. It's a fun, hands-on experience the whole family can enjoy.
Carnival
Step right up and enjoy the excitement of the carnival at Pioneer Park! From classic rides and midway games to tasty treats and bright lights, there's fun for all ages day and night.
Alta Humildad
Enjoy a live performance by Alta Humildad at the Pioneer Park Gazebo as they bring the sounds of regional Mexican music to the festival with an energetic set that's sure to keep the crowd entertained.
Westside Fiesta Mexicana Dancers
Experience the vibrant traditions of the Westside Fiesta Mexicana Dancers at the Pioneer Park Gazebo. Dressed in colorful costumes, they bring cultural stories to life through music and dance, captivating audiences of all ages.
Battle of the Bands
Head to the Pioneer Park Gazebo and cheer on local teen bands as they bring their best performances. Enjoy an evening of high-energy music and hometown talent.

Little Mr. & Miss Newman Pageant and Miss Newman Pageant
Celebrate the poise, confidence, and talent of Newman’s youth at the Little Mr. & Miss Newman Pageant, followed immediately by the Miss Newman Pageant. Held at the Pioneer Park Gazebo, contestants will take the spotlight as they compete for the opportunity to represent the Newman Fall Festival and their community throughout the coming year.
Kids' Dance Party
Open to kids of all ages (yes, even grown-ups), this lively event turns the Pioneer Park Gazebo into an open-air dance floor. With upbeat music and plenty of room to move, it’s the perfect way to celebrate and dance the night away under the stars.

Downtown Historical Walking Tour
Starting off at the Newman Museum (1209 Main Street), discover Newman’s rich past while you stroll through historic streets, hear stories of the town’s early days, and see landmarks that have shaped the community’s character for over a century.
Parade & Baking Contest Awards
Gather at the Pioneer Park Gazebo as all winners are announced and honored. From parade floats to delicious baked goods, see the best of the festival celebrated in style.
Cornhole Tournament

The King returns to the Newman Fall Festival! Head to the Pioneer Park Gazebo for an unforgettable Elvis tribute performance featuring the timeless hits, signature style, and unforgettable energy of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. Sing along to the classics and enjoy a show that's sure to have the crowd all shook up.
Car Show Awards
At the Pioneer Park Gazebo, winners from the Car Show, co-sponsored by the West Side Auto Club, are announced and honored for their craftsmanship, style, and dedication to automotive excellence.
Newman's Got Talent
Local stars take the Pioneer Park Gazebo to share their music, dance, comedy, and more in a showcase of the community’s diverse talents and creativity.

Co-Ed Softball Tournament
At Barrington Park (1137 Barrington Avenue), co-ed teams hit the diamonds for the Softball Tournament, with 10 players plus alternates (minimum 6 men, 4 women). Pre-registration is required, and the entry fee is $250 per team. For questions or to register, contact Marc Chittim at 209.262.5420.
